Ibis Muscat Hotel

The room was cramped, and the key card was a hassle to use.

I choose to stay primarily because of location. As a business hotel for short nights it is basic but perfectly acceptable.

I feel breakfast should be included in the room rate

A practical review for you

The cleanliness was great, and the room was spacious with great amenities like a fridge and TV. The staff, especially Miss Rose, provided swift and efficient service at check-in and check-out. The delicious breakfast buffet offered plenty of options to start my day right.

We ate at a very nice restaurant for the Breakfast. A roll-in shower in the bathroom was a plus. Its location not too far away from Muscat Grand Mall was nice and perfect.

No sauna, No swimming pool, No terrace

Everything was AWESOME, super staff, good views of the mountains. The restaurant here was great with a very comprehensive menu, we both ordered hot dishes. The location was marvellous, with a coffee house and eateries near the hotel.

Enjoyed the amazing buffet breakfast with plenty of Indian food options, especially the parata. Thanks to the excellent service from staff like Raj, Rafiq, and particularly Ms. Von, who constantly checked to see if we needed anything. The location made it easy to explore the city and access nearby shops and restaurants. I faced some issues with housekeeping. On my first day, I requested extra towels and blankets multiple times, but they took too long to arrive. Even on the last day, arranged a ride to the airport was a struggle. The food was fantastic, but service timing needs attention.

The hotel is clean, that's the only positive thing I can say!!

No amenities in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, soap...), very bad pillows and bed, no mini bar in the room, impossibility to open the windows!!

The prices in my opinion should be with breakfast at this price level. It is available in all other hotels and included in the price.

The breakfast buffet at Ibis was quite excellent, with a good variety of choices, including a delicious range of grilled food and local dishes. The staff in the restaurant, especially Ms. Nica and Mr Pinto, were attentive and friendly.

Slow service for requests.

Breakfast was of a reasonable standard.

Room and bathroom were small. Only 2 towels and bath mat provided, no hand or face towels. Wifi was slow. No pool.

excellent location but slow housekeeping

I really appreciated how accommodating the staff were regarding my early check-in request. Arriving tired, I was grateful that the front desk was able to provide the room by 11:00 AM. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a variety of dishes, including delicious local flavors that enhanced my experience. The city view from the room was fine.

Unfortunately, the housekeeping service was somewhat slow .

The hotel is very good in terms of quite and Relax. However the room clean and the service very good.

I have stayed in hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is new, well designed, clean and very good velue for money!

Breakfast bufet has room for improvment: selection of the food, attentivness of the staff.
